SDRS09HOT is a assembled DB9/HDB15 D-Sub hood kit. Easy to assemble two piece metalized backshells are a great choice for the "do it yourself" consumer. Low profile design allows for use in tight spaces where standard depth backshells cause clearance problems. Metalized chrome plating provides an economical method of shielding backshells. When used with shielded cable, a complete ground can be made between connector shells. Accommodates both DB9 and HD15 size connectors. Typical applications include serial data transmission, data networks, instrument control and device management.
