MAX1247BEEE+

The MAX1247BEEE+ is a +2.7V, low power, 4-channel, serial 12bit analogue to digital converter (ADC) in 16 pin QSOP package. This ADC uses a successive approximation conversion technique and input track/hold (T/H) circuitry to convert an analogue signal to a 12bit digital output. A flexible serial interface provides easy interface to microprocessors (µPs). It use either an internal clock or an external serial interface clock to perform successive approximation analogue to digital conversions. It requires an external reference and has a reference buffer amplifier with a ±1.5% voltage adjustment range. Device provides a hard-wired SHDN(complementary) pin and a software-selectable power-down and can be programmed to automatically shut down at the end of a conversion. It is used in pen digitizers, data acquisition and process control.

• Relative accuracy of ±1LSB, differential nonlinearity is ±1LSB & offset error of ±0.5LSB
• Total harmonic distortion is -88dB, small-signal bandwidth is 2.25MHz at -3dB roll-off
• Reference buffer gain is 2V/V
• Maximum conversion time of 7.5µs at internal clock, SHDN(complementary) = FLOAT
