MAX4080FAUA+

The MAX4080FAUA+ is a 76V, high side, current sense amplifier with voltage output in 8 pin µMAX package. The device is designed for unidirectional current sense applications. For maximum versatility, the 76V input voltage range applies independently to both supply voltage (VCC) and common-mode input voltage (VRS+). High side current monitoring does not interfere with the ground path of the load being measured, this makes the device particularly useful in wide range of high voltage systems. Device offer a high level of integration resulting in a simple, accurate and compact current sense solution makes device ideal for telecom, automotive, backplane and other systems where high voltage current monitoring is critical.

• Supply voltage range is 4.5V to 76V
• Automotive temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
• Independent operating supply voltage
• Gain of current sense amplifier is 5V/V with gain accuracy of ±0.1% at 25°C
• Bandwidth of amplifier is 250KHz, CMRR is 124dB at VRS+ = 4.5V to 76V
• Low input offset voltage of 100μV at TA = +25°C, input bias current of 5µA at VCC = VRS+ = 76V
• High accuracy and low quiescent current
• Supply current is 75µA
• Minimizes required board space
