1273.1010

The 1273.1010 is a 10-fold square single line Horizontal PCB Mount Light Guide can be used as an FEL substitute in a 5.08mm pitch and is held in place on the printed board via press-in lugs. The light guides are used in conjunction with SMD LEDs. The light is guided in the form of 2x5mm light guide parallel to the printed board on the front panel. The heads of conventional front-mounted light guides will always be slightly larger than the aperture they are mounted in. The result is that not all of the head is directly illuminated by the LED. The advantage of mounting from the rear of the panel is that all of the light guide head is directly illuminated, producing a visibly superior lighting effect. Mechanical fixing is achieved via the radial compression of slightly over-sized rings moulded into the light guide body. The minimum recommended thickness of the front panel is 1.5mm.
