The MA330011 Plug In Module is small circuit board used with the Explorer 16 Development Board to evaluate dsPIC33FJ256GP710A MCU. The dsPIC33FJ256GP710 is a high performance 16bit digital signal controller in a 100 pin TQFP package. These plug into the main processor socket of the Explorer 16 Development Board so that different microcontrollers can be used for prototyping, demonstration or development quickly and easily.

- Linear program memory addressing up to 4M instruction words
- 8 channel hardware DMA
- Fail safe clock monitor
- Idle, sleep and doze modes with fast wake-up timers/capture/compare/PWM
- 3 wire SPI, I2C, UART modules
- Data Converter Interface (DCI) module, Codec interface supports I2S and AC’97 protocols
- Enhanced CAN (ECAN module) 2.0B active
- Low power, high speed Flash technology
