MIKROE-6861 is a Boost 12 Click compact add-on board designed for high-voltage DC-DC step-up power conversion for embedded, industrial, and communication systems that require flexible input compatibility and precise output regulation. This board is based on the TPS61170, a monolithic high-voltage switching regulator from Texas Instruments that integrates a power MOSFET and supports a wide input voltage range from 3V to 18V for operation from multicell batteries or regulated 5V and 12V power rails. Featuring built-in soft start, pulse-by-pulse overcurrent protection, thermal shutdown, and PWM-based digital adjustment of the output voltage, this Click offers reliable, safe, and adaptable power management, along with Click Snap support.
