EV3398H-S-00A is an evaluation board designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MP3398H, a step-up controller with four LED current channels, designed to drive white LED (WLED) arrays for large-sized LCD panel backlighting applications. The MP3398H can expand the number of LED current channels with two or more ICs in parallel sharing a single power source.
- 4-string, max 400mA/string white LED (WLED) driver
- 4.5V to 33V input voltage (VIN) range
- 80V absolute maximum rating for each string
- 1.5% current matching accuracy between each string
- Direct pulse-width modulation (PWM) dimming mode
- Analog dimming mode via PWM input or DC input
- Cascading capability with a single power source
- LED open and short protection
- Configurable, recoverable OVP, OTP with hiccup mode, short inductor and diode protection
- 540mV cycle-by-cycle current limit
