MC36179 is radial PTC resettable fuse. It is a compact, radial-leaded PPTC fuse that offers Reliable overcurrent protection in 16V DC circuits. It holds a steady 7A and trips at 11.9A within around 8 seconds, then automatically resets after fault clearance. With a rectangular body of 11.2 × 19.7 × 3mm and 5.1mm lead spacing, it also withstands surge currents up to 100A, making it suitable for a wide range of electronics designs.
