NTBMS-FSNXP

NTBMS-FSNXP is a NewTec battery management system (BMS) reference design. This is an e-mobility reference design and a complete safety support package for MS. Developed in partnership with NewTec, the NEWTEC-NTBMS is intended for device manufacturers with Lithium-ion batteries and suppliers of automotive or industrial applications. It provides a high degree of reliability and safety, targeting BMS up to ASIL C according to ISO 26262. NTBMS is a generic safety reference design for BMS developed in cooperation with NXP. The Battery Management System of LiIon battery includes cell monitoring, current sensing, passive cell balancing, battery breaker control, computation unit for Battery parameter extraction (such as State of Charge, State of Health) and communication to other ECU through CAN. Typical applications include automotive BMS for starter battery with Li-Ion battery, automotive BMS for auxiliary battery, smart grids and other battery management opportunities (medical, e-Bike).
