This monolithic integrated circuit is designed as fixed voltage regulator for a wide variety of applications including local and on card regulation. This regulator employs internal current limiting, thermal shutdown and safe area compensation.

- Dropout voltage of 2V at 1A output current
- Maximum input voltage of 35V
- No external components required
- Output voltage offered in 1.5%, 2% and 4% tolerance
- Internal thermal overload protection and internal short circuit current limiting
- Output transistor safe-area compensation
- 3 pin TO-220 package
- Operating temperature range from 0°C to 125°C
