MC78M05CDTG is a fixed output, three terminal positive linear voltage regulator in 3 pin TO-252 package. This regulator is intended for local and on card voltage regulation. Internal current limiting, thermal shutdown circuitry and safe area compensation for internal pass transistor combine to make this device rugged under most operating conditions.
- Fixed output voltage of 5V
- 700mA peak output current at TJ = 25°C
- Dropout voltage of 2VDC at TJ = 25°C
- Maximum input voltage of 35V
- No external components required
- Internal thermal overload protection
- Internal short circuit current limiting
- Operating junction temperature range from 0°C to 125°C
- 3 pin TO-252 package (DPAK-3)
