The 1N5819 from STMicroelectronics is an axial leaded low drop power schottky rectifier in DO-41 package. These diodes are featured with very small conduction losses, negligible switching losses, extremely fast switching and low forward voltage drop. Typically suited for switch mode power supplies, high frequency DC to DC converters, high frequency inverters, freewheeling, polarity protection and small battery chargers.
