High power PoE PD, 3V up to 20A active clamp forward evaluation board. This evaluation board lets to evaluate a PD interface compliant with the new IEEE802.3bt standard based on the PM8805 IEEE 802.3bt PoE-PD interface and a DC-DC forward active clamp converter based on the PM8804 peak current mode controller. This reference design represents a solution ideal for various applications including wireless access points, supplied with a PoE-PD interface and a DC-DC active clamp forward converter.
