74VHC541FT(BJ) is a CMOS digital silicon monolithic IC. It is an advanced high speed CMOS octal bus buffer (non-inverted, 3-state outputs) fabricated with silicon gate C²MOS technology. It achieves the high speed operation similar to equivalent bipolar schottky TTL while maintaining the CMOS low power dissipation. It is a non-inverting type. When either active-low G1 or active-low G2 are high, the terminal outputs are in the high-impedance state. An input protection circuit ensures that 0 to 5.5V can be applied to the input pins without regard to the supply voltage. This device can be used to interface 5V to 3V systems and two supply systems such as battery back-up. This circuit prevents device destruction due to mismatched supply and input voltages. It is pin and function compatible with 74 series (74AC/HC/AHC/LV etc.) 540 or 541 type.

- Input leakage current is ±0.1µA max at (VIN = 5.5V or GND, 0 to 5.5V, Ta = 25°C)
- Quiescent supply current is 4µA max at (VIN = VCC or GND, 5.5V, Ta = 25°C)
- Input capacitance is 4pF typical at (Ta = 25°C, input: tr = tf = 3ns)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C, AEC-Q100 qualified (Rev. H)
