TDL 3-0523

The TDL 3-0523 from Tracopower is a TDL 3 series, 3W DC/DC converter. This compact 3W converter comes in a very compact DIP package (0.55inch x 0.55inch x 0.31inch). It has isolation capacitance (input/output) of 100pF typical, isolation resistance (input/output) of greater than 1Gohm. The switching frequency is 100KHz minimum and temperature coefficient is ±0.02%/K maximum. This DC/DC converter has conducted noise (EN 55022 class A or B (with external components)), ESD (EN 61000-4-2, ±8KV / ±6KV, perf criteria A), radiated immunity (EN 61000-4-3, 10V/m, perf criteria A), fast transient / surge (with external input capacitor, EN 61000-4-4, ±2KV, perf criteria A, EN 61000-4-5, ±1KV perf criteria A), conducted immunity (EN 61000-4-6, 10VRMS, perf criteria A) and magnetic field immunity (EN 61000-4-8, 3 A/m, perf criteria A).

• Input voltage range from 4.5VDC to 10VDC (5V nominal), typical efficiency is 85%
• Output voltage is ±15VDC, maximum output current is ±100mA
• Input current no load is 45mA typical, surge voltage (1 sec max) is 12V maximum
• Isolation voltage (I/O isolation voltage (60sec)) is 1500VDC, maximum start-up voltage is 4.5VDC
• Fully regulated outputs, wide 2 : 1 input voltage range, tinned copper pin material
• Continuous, automatic recovery short circuit protection, UL 60950-1, IEC/EN 60950-1 safety standards
• Voltage set accuracy is ±1.5% maximum, regulation is 0.2% maximum ( input variation)
• Ripple and noise (20MHz bandwidth) is 70mVp-p typ, package weight is 3.9g
• Non-conducting black plastic (UL 94V-0 rated) case, silicone (UL 94V-0 rated) potting material
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to 80°C without derating (convection cooling 20LFM, 0.1m/s)
