453-00224-K2 is a BL54L15µ (Nordic nRF54L15) module development kit. The Bluetooth channel sounding is a feature introduced by Bluetooth SIG to enable precise distance and location measurements between Bluetooth devices. Instead of RSSI which can be inaccurate channel sounding uses advanced physical-layer measurements, such as phase (PBR), frequency characteristics, RTT of multiple transmitted tones to calculate the distance between devices. This allows Bluetooth systems to achieve much more accurate positioning, supporting new applications in asset tracking, access control and spatial awareness. MARS significantly improves the signal processing of PBR and RTT channel sounding methods, using the full CIR. It provides high accuracy with minimal hardware and lowest power consumption, even in challenging and reflective environments. Suitable for people flow & occupancy analytics, access control /secure proximity, indoor navigation /wayfinding, robotics /autonomous systems applications.
- Plugs into the mikroBUS expansion connector
- Stacking connectors allow for additional mikroBUS Click boards
- Antennas are tuned and matched by design: no additional RF matching is needed
- GPIO may be changed, if desired
- GPIO is chosen to not interfere with I2C or SPI ports
- Connects to the host with a 100mm MHF4 jumper cable
- Unique 2 antenna design enable complementary antenna patterns between antennas for enhanced coverage
