RWD-QT

RWD-QT is a low cost proximity RFID reader module supporting several transponder/tag types. Philips / NXP Hitag 1, Hitag S, Hitag 2, EM4001 / EM4102 and Microchip MCRF200/123 tag types. The module is housed with 24 pin DIP package and requires 5v supply and 700µH antenna coil with fully featured read/write and tag acceptance system. It has outstanding RF drive capability and has a read/write range to ISO card size tags of up to 20cm whilst maintaining reliable communication and high resilience to EMC corruption. This has been achieved through RWD continuously self tuning to allow for inductive changes in the RF field and extensive software/hardware filtering. The RWD module has a TTL level RS232 interface that allows a host system to send and receive easy to use optimised commands/data. It also has internal EEPROM memory for holding system parameters, encryption/password keys, lists of authorised serial numbers and supports direct LED drives to give visual indication of acceptance.
